A Thousand Stars

There are a thousand stars, to gaze upon,
Paving way for a cheerful morn.
Some appear in groups of Ursa Major,
Some in Orion.

Some of them, though only in fiction,
Are the stars which fulfil our ambition.
These are the wishing stars,
Some people believe them to be superstition.

There are a thousand stars, infinite galaxies,
But how do I reach them?
People reach them in both curiosity and misery,
The curious is the astronaut, the sad are the dead.

There are a thousand stars,
One of them must of some one of my family.
Freed from life's strenous bars,
In a complete, peaceful reverie...
