Yesterday I went to the Diwali Fair,
I had so much fun.
Lights oh so colorful, they were there,
Upon the trees, they were hung...
There was lots of food, a vast variety,
So yummy and tempting to the folks who were dieting,
The curries scrumptious, the breads were hearty,
Oh how wonderful was that party!
There were musicians here and dancers there, creating a delightful fusion,
There were Sufi singers, the voice of them,
Created a heavenly illusion!
Overall the show was a Diwali treat,
With food so spicy and desserts sweet,
It was full of enjoyment and pleasure,
Filled with the Indian culture's treasure.
